One of the biggest projects of my life was Naofood.
When the founder Guillaume Blanchet asked me to build a food delivery app from scratch, I was just starting my journey as a developer—right after completing my nanodegree.

At the beginning, the goal was simple: allow customers to pre-order food from restaurants. But the project quickly evolved into a full-fledged delivery app with real-time tracking, payments, and everything you’d expect from a modern food delivery platform.
Naofood was developed as an MVP and grew to handle 100+ orders while I followed and supported the team.

Challenges & Solutions

• UX/UI Design: The app had to be intuitive and visually appealing to attract and retain users.

  • Implemented encryption and security best practices to protect sensitive user data.
  • Developed a frictionless checkout process to boost conversion rates.
• Restaurant management: The app had to support restaurants with different menus, pricing, and availability.
  • Built an intuitive restaurant management interface for easy updates.
  • Designed a flexible data model to accommodate varied requirements.
• Operations dashboard: To run efficiently, the business needed oversight on orders, deliveries, and customer support.
  • Built a comprehensive dashboard with real-time analytics and reporting.
• Bug fixing and iteration: As with any MVP, issues arose that required rapid response.
  • The founder and I worked closely to identify and prioritize bugs.
  • Implemented a feedback loop to prioritize bug fixes and new features.
  • Ask client for feedback and iterate quickly.
